Epicurus Publishing is looking for a superstar Digital Ad Sales Director to be an integral part of our growing, dynamic company. Responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue goals through selling ad space on our website to both clients and agencies, creating and executing an effective sales strategy and developing integrated sales programs and proposals.

Our website has been online for 15 years, and has considerable traffic, with over 925,000 unique visitors in 2011 and more than 2,400,000 page views a month and rising steadily in 2012.  With a theme of food, beverage, travel and entertainment, the site is a panoply of opportunities for a creative, enthusiastic and savvy ad salesperson.  Those markets provide a broad range of potential clients and with our expanding audience, a positive, impressive click through rate.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter with a great work ethic and a collaborative style.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Digital Sales or Sales Operations experience (3 years minimum)
  • Strong experience at building lasting relationships, sponsorships and unique marketing opportunities
  • Thorough knowledge of digital advertising standards, practices, and technologies (planning, targeting, ad serving, reporting, et al)
  • Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and WordPress
