We are seeking a chef to conduct cooking classes for amateur cooks.  The courses are short, focused on Italian cuisine in a state of the art kitchen located in Staten Island, NY, a borough of New York City, easily commutable from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or New Jersey.

This is a fun position, teaching very nice people who are interested in learning about the extraordinary regional cuisines of Italy, and their specialty foods. The opportunity provides a wonderful working environment, considerable support and resources and access to some of the finest Italian cooking experts.

The courses are several hours long, and focused on just a few dishes at a time.

Responsibilities include teaching, financial responsibility for food and beverage cost controls, course preparation, and staffing of certain classes, as well as learning specific regional cuisines of Italy.
